Type S1

Hand-operated hydraulic clamping system between centers from WILHELM KÖNIG MTM
This manually operated hydraulic clamping system is characterized by a precise positioning of the clamping devices between the centers. This design enables precise assembly and exact workpiece positioning – both for machining and for high-precision measuring tasks that require absolute run-out accuracy and repeatability.
It is operated by hand using a manual clamping screw. When the clamping screw is actuated, the oil in the closed system is compressed via a piston, causing the clamping area to expand evenly and cylindrically within elastic range. In combination with permanently elastic clamping bushes and a closed clamping surface, this results in even workpiece clamping – ideal for bore centering.

One of the main features of our hydraulic manual clamping systems is the manual actuation by means of a manual clamping screw. When the clamping screw is actuated, the oil in the closed system is compressed via a piston, causing the clamping area to expand evenly and cylindrically within elastic range.
The combination of permanently elastic clamping bushes and a closed clamping surface ensures that the workpiece is held gently and evenly, guaranteeing secure clamping.
