This manually operated hydraulic clamping system is characterized by the precise mounting of clamping devices between centers. This design enables particularly stable and exact workpiece positioning – both for machining operations and for high-precision measuring tasks where absolute concentricity and repeatability are required.
Operation is performed manually via a hand clamping screw. By tightening the clamping screw, the oil in the closed system is compressed via a piston, causing the clamping point to expand uniformly and cylindrically within the elastic range. In combination with permanently elastic clamping bushings and a closed clamping surface, this creates uniform workpiece mounting – ideal for bore centering.
