Perfectly tailored to your requirements

WILHELM KÖNIG MTM was founded in 1946 as a mechanical workshop and metalworking shop by Wilhelm König, and is now run as a family business in the third generation.
The company specializes in the manufacture of highprecision clamping elements for modern CNC-controlled machine tools. WILHELM KÖNIG MTM (company name until the end of July 2023: König-mtm GmbH, Spanntechnik) has been one of the most innovative companies in this sector for decades. The product range includes workpiece clamping devices such as clamping mandrels and chucks in hydraulic, mechanical, or hydro-mechanical design, which are sold to leading mechanical engineering and industrial companies under the KÖNIGDORN product brand.

The customer workpieces that are machined on these precision products range from aircraft components to components for automobiles and construction machinery to gearwheels for wind turbines.
The KÖNIGDORN product brand has become a byword for quality among international mechanical engineering companies and the automotive industry. As a rule, clamping tools are developed individually and customized for customers‘ machining tasks. They are usually produced as individual items or in small batches.
