Quick-change systems
Quick-change system – hydraulic, H4
Hydraulic quick-change system from WILHELM KÖNIG MTM
A special feature of our hydraulic quick-change system is the integrated pull-down of the clamping devices on the quick-change system. Manual actuation of the quick-change systems allows different clamping devices to be quickly and efficiently centered and clamped, resulting in a considerable reduction in set-up time.
By screwing in the manual clamping screw, the closed oil system is compressed by means of a piston and the clamping area is cylindrically expanded within its elastic range. This ensures maximum precision and secure fixing of the adapted clamping system.
The quick-change systems will be tailored to your machine connection and individually designed and manufactured.

Quick-change system – mechanical, M4
The mechanical quick-change system from WILHELM KÖNIG MTM
A key feature of our quick-change system is the permanent clamping of the adapted clamping device and the bayonet connection. This allows quick and easy changing of the mounted clamping devices. The clamping device is centered and powerfully held in place – without any additonal tools.
The integrated permanent clamping system guarantees secure clamping, even in the event of machine malfunctions, and ensures consistently high clamping forces. An effective pull-down creates a rigid connection between the quick-change chuck and the clamping device, ensuring high axial and radial run-out accuracy.
The system is designed in particular for vertical gear hobbing machines, but can be flexibly adapted to different machine types. The design will be customized to your machine connection to ensure minimum set-up effort and maximum process reliability.

Zero-point clamping system, M4
Zero-point clamping system from WILHELM KÖNIG MTM
The zero-point quick-change system from WILHELM KÖNIG MTM enables a significant reduction in your set-up times while ensuring increased efficiency in your production processes. Based on highprecision zero-point pallet systems, these quick-change chucks, combined with hydraulic or mechanical clamping devices, offer a flexible and reliable solution for a wide range of applications.
The zero-point clamping systems are permanently clamped. They are unclamped using compressed air. The clamping can be released either automatically via the machine or manually using an air pressure gun. The clamping devices on the zero-point clamping system are usually actuated directly via the machine hydraulics, the drawbar or push rod of the machine, or via an air pressure intensifier integrated into the quick-change chuck.
